Ba Ji Tian aka Radix Morindae Officinalis

Latin Name: Radix Morindae Officinalis
Properties: acrid, sweet, warm

Actions: tonifies kidneys, assists the Yang, dispels wind-damp and cold, strengthens tendons and bones

Medical Indications: impotence, spermatorrhea, premature ejaculation, infertility, incontinence, irregular menstruation, blood clots druing menstruation, back pain, atrophy of muscles, arthritis, muscle cramps and spasms, stiff joints

Contraindications: not to be used in patients with damp heat, not to be used in patients with Yin deficient fire

Dosage: 4 to 10 grams
