Latin Name: Pollen Typhae

Properties: acrid, sweet, neutral

Actions: astringes blood, stops bleeding, invigorates blood, dispels blood stasis

Medical Indications: external and internal traumatic injuries, coughing blood, vomiting blood, nosebleed, uterine bleeding, blood in stool or urine, dysmenorrhea, chest pain, postpartum abdominal pain

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy

Dosage: 4.5 to 12 grams
