Pu Gong Ying (Dandelion)

Latin Name: Herba Taraxaci

Properties: bitter, sweet, cold

Actions: eliminates heat and toxins in blood, resolves dampness, removes abscesses, dissipates nodules, promotes lactation

Medical Indications: boils and sores, lymphadenitis, mastitis, sore throat, appendicitis, intestinal abscesses, jaundice due to damp heat, inflammation of eye, lung abscesses, urinary tract infection with painful urination, insufficient milk secretion due to heat

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy

Caution: over dosage may cause heartburn and/or loose stool

Dosage: 9 to 30 grams
