Latin Name: Herba Eupatorii

Properties: pungent, neutral

Actions: transforms dampness, awakens spleen, clears summer heat

Medical Indications: nausea, lack of appetite, stifling sensation in chest, epigastric and abdominal distension, white and moist tongue coat, chronic bronchitis, asthma, tonsillitis, dysentery

Contraindications: not to be used in cases of Yin deficiency

Dosage: 4.5 to 9 grams
