Properties: sour, warm
Actions: relaxes sinews and muscles, opens channels, harmonizes stomach, transforms dampness, reduces food stagnation
Medical Indications: spasms and stiffness of sinews and muscles, muscle atrophy, pain and weakness in low back, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal inflammation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, edema in legs, calve cramps, injuries, sore eyes
Contraindications: not to be used in cases with internal heat stagnation, not to be used in patients with hyperchlorhydria
Dosage: 4.5 to 12 grams
