Properties: bitter, neutral

Actions: promotes movement of Qi, moves blood, opens middle Jiao, unblocks channels, expels wind, promotes urination, treats allergies

Medical Indications: abdominal and epigastric pain, irregular menses, pain in low back, extremities, and knees, edema, dysuria, nasal congestion, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, itching

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy, not to be used in cases of hypermenorrhea

Dosage: 4.5 to 9 grams
