Properties: astringent, sour, neutral

Actions: stabilizes kidneys, retains urine and essence, binds intestines, stops diarrhea

Medical Indications: incontinence, spermatorrhea, chronic diarrhea, dysentery, vaginal discharge

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy, not to be used in cases of excess heat

Dosage: 6 to 12 grams
