Latin Name: Bombyx Batryticatus

Properties: pungent, salty, neutral

Actions: transforms phlegm, dissipates nodules, expels wind, stops pain, stops itching

Medical Indications: epilepsy, Bell’s palsy, headache, toothache, sore throat, itchy skin

Contraindications: not to be used together with Jie Geng, Fu Ling, and Sang Piao Xiao

Dosage: 5 to 9 grams
