Latin Name: Polygonatum Sibiricum

Properties: sweet, neutral

Actions: tonifies kidneys, augments spleen Yin and Jing, moistens lungs, treats thirst

Medical Indications: anemia, lung deficiency with dry cough, weak digestion, lack of appetite, lack of energy, Yin deficiency with diabetes

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy, not to be used in cases with spleen deficiency

Dosage: 10 to 15 grams
