Properties: slightly bitter, neutral
Actions: clears heat, dispels blood stasis, promotes diuresis, transforms phlegm, stops cough, discharges toxins topically, relaxes bowels
Medical Indications: rheumatoid arthritis, gall bladder stones, blood stasis, jaundice, yeast infection, inflammation of bronchi, acute hepatitis, urinary tract infections, menopausal bleeding disorders, menstrual disorders caused by heat in blood, lobar pneumonia, snake bites, scalding injuries
Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy
Caution: large dosages or long term usage can be toxic to kidneys
Dosage: 10 to 20 grams
