Hu Lu Ba (Fenugreek Seed, Trigonella)

Latin Name: Trigonella Foenum-Graecum

Properties: bitter, warm

Actions: disperses dampness and cold, warms kidneys, lowers blood sugar and blood lipids

Medical Indications: impotence caused by kidney deficiency, lack of libido, hernia, stomach pain, edema in legs, lack of strength due to deficiency, neurasthenia

Contraindications: not to be taken during pregnancy

Caution: to be used with caution in patients with diabetes

Dosage: 5 to 30 grams
