Latin Name: Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis

Properties: bitter, acrid, warm, aromatic

Actions: warms and dries dampness, transforms phlegm, regulates Qi, resolves stagnation

Medical Indications: abdominal fullness, indigestion, flatulence, bloating, loss of appetite, constipation, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, cough, dyspnea, chest congestion, phlegm

Contraindicatons: none

Caution: to be used with caution during pregnancy, to be used with caution in cases of Qi deficiency, large dosages or long-term usage can be toxic to kidneys

Dosage: 3 to 10 grams
