Zi Su Ye (Perilla Leaf)

Latin Name: Folium Perillae

Properties: acrid, aromatic, warm

Actions: releases exterior, disperses cold, promotes movement of Qi, calms restless fetus, helps counteract sea food poisening

Medical Indications: fever, chilss, headache, cough, nasal congestion, nausea, vomiting, morning sickness, poor appetite, restless fetus, sea food poisening

Contraindications: not to be used in cases of exterior deficiency with sweating and damp heat

Dosage: 3 to 9 grams
