Zi Ran Tong (Pyrite)

Latin Name: Pyritum

Properties: acrid, neutral

Actions: disperses heat, breaks blood clots, relieves pain, promotes healing of broken bones and sinews

Medical Indications: fractured bones, sprains, contusions, traumatic injuries, inflammation, bruising

Contraindications: not to be used in cases of blood deficiency or Yin deficiency with heat, not to be used in cases without blood stasis symptoms

Dosage: 3 to 9 grams
