Latin Name: Violae Yedoensitis

Properties: acrid, bitter, cold

Actions: eliminates heat toxins, relieves sores from heat

Medical Indications: inflammation of eyes, throat, and ears, mumps, breast- and intestinal abscesses, carbuncles, sores, abscesses, boils

Contraindications: not to be used in cases of spleen deficiency

Dosage: 9 to 15 grams
