Latin Name: Spina Gleditsiae

Properties: acrid, warm

Actions: invigorates blood, reduces swellings, expels wind, eliminates toxins, discharges pus, kills parasites

Medical Indications: abscesses, sores, carbuncles in early stage, leprosy, tinea

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy, not to be used in open sores

Dosage: 0.5 to 2 grams
