Yin Yang Huo (Epimedium)

Latin Name: Herba Epimedii

Properties: acrid, sweet, warm

Actions: tonifies kidney Yang, strengthens tendons and bones, expels wind damp cold

Medical Indications: spermatorrhea, impotence, frequent urination, rheumatoid arthralgia, weak pack and knees, joint pain, numbness, fatigue, fortgetfulness, bronchitis, coronary heart diseases, hepatitis, viral myocarditis, hypertension during menopause

Contraindications: not to be used in cases with heat due to Yin deficiency, not to be used long-term

Dosage: 6 to 15 grams
