Latin Name: Fructus Alpinae Oxyphyllae

Properties: acrid, warm

Actions: warms spleen, stops diarrhea, retains essens, holds urine, arrrests excessive discharge of saliva, warms kidneys

Medical Indications: diarrhea, excess salivation, bad taste in mouth, urinary and reproductive disorders, spermatorrhea, vaginal discharge, frequent urination

Contraindications: not to be taken during pregnancy, not to be taken in cases of vaginal discharge, spermatorrhea, and frequent urination due to heat

Dosage: 3 to 9 grams
