Properties: bitter, acrid, slightly cold

Actions: clears toxic heat and fire, lowers blood pressure

Medical Indications: sores, eczema, pruritus, scrofula, furuncles, sore and swollen throat, red eyes due to wind fire

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy, not to be used in patients with weak digestion

Dosage: 6 to 12 grams
