Yan Hu Suo (Corydalis Rhizome)

Latin Name: Rhizoma Corydalis

Properties: acrid, warm, bitter

Actions: moves Qi and blood, reduces masses, relieves pain

Medical Indications: pain of all types, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, blood stasis after childbirth, uterus bleeding, bleeding during menopause, irregular heart beat, coronary artery disease, palpable masses in abdomen

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy, not to be used in deficient patients

Dosage: 5 to 10 grams
