Latin Name: Crinis Carbonisatis

Properties: bitter, neutral

Actions: stops bleeding, promotes urination

Medical Indications: dysentery, blood stasis, uterine bleeding, nosebleeds, bleeding of gums, convulsions, burns

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy

Dosage: 4.5 to 9 grams
