Properties: sweet, salty, neutral

Actions: dispels blood stasis, relieves pain, generates flesh, stops bleeding, protects ulcer surface

Medical Indications: amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, dyspnea, postpartum chest congestion, irregular menses, injuries from impact, bleeding from injuries, pain from bruises, ulcers, hemorrhoids, fungal infections of skin, sores

Contraindications: not to be taken internally during pregnancy, not to be taken without symptoms of blood stasis, not to be taken during menses

Dosage: 0.3 to 1.5 grams
