Latin Name: Realgar

Properties: acrid, bitter, warm, toxic

Actions: relieves toxicity, kills parasites, dries dampness, expels phlegm

Medical Indications: skin inflammation, itchiness, abscesses, damp rashes, ulcerations, ringworm, scabies, roundworms, seizures, wheezing, malarial conditions, leukemia with high white cell count

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy, not to be used in cases with Yin or blood deficiency, not to be used in leukemia with low white cell counts, not to be used long-term

Dosage: 0.15 to 0.6 grams
