Latin Name: Fructus Foeniculi Vulgaris

Properties: warm, acrid

Actions: warms kidneys, soothes liver Qi, expels cold, alleviates pain, regulates Qi, harmonizes stomach

Medical Indications: indigestions, gastric colic and gas, respiratory congestion, cough, cholera, vomiting, beriberi, frequent urination, insufficient lactation

Contraindications: none

Caution: to be used with Caution in pregnant women with weak constitution, to be used with Caution in cases of Yin deficiency

Dosage: 3 to 20 grams
