Xian Mao (Golden Eye Grass Rhizome)

Latin Name: Rhizoma Curculiginis

Properties: acrid, hot, mildly toxic

Actions: tonifies kidneys, improves Yang deficiency, expels cold, eliminates dampness, treats infertility

Medical Indications: cold chest and abdomen, reproductive and urinary disorders, pain and weakness in bones and sinews

Contraindications: not to be used in cases of Yin deficiency with heat, not to be used long-term

Dosage: 3 to 10 grams
