Latin Name: Radix Linderae

Properties: acrid, warm

Actions: moves Qi, relieves pain, disperses cold, warms kidneys

Medical Indications: abdominal pain and distension, epigastric pain, menstrual pain, pain and cold an chest, incontinence, frequent urination, hernia, dysmenorrhea, spermatorrhea, fatigue, vaginal discharge

Contraindications: not to be used in cases with interior heat or Qi and blood deficiency

Dosage: 3 to 9 grams
