Latin Name: Galla Chinensis

Properties: sour, salty, cold

Actions: contains lung Qi, stops chronic cough, binds intestines, stops diarrhea, absorbs moisture, resolves toxicity, reduces swellings, restrains leakage

Medical Indications: chronic cough, dysentery, chronic diarrhea, chronic bloody stool, prolapse, spermatorrhea, bleeding, excessive sweating, nightsweats, nocturnal emissions, vaginal discharge, scar tissue, dermatosis, swellings, skin ulcers, toxic fire, ringworm

Contraindications: not to be used in pregnancy

Dosage: 1.5 to 6 grams
