Latin Name: Tetrapanacis Medulla

Properties: sweet, bland, cold

Actions: drains damp heat, promotes urination, promotes lactation

Medical Indications: painful urination due to damp heat, insufficient lactation

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy

Caution: to be used with caution in cases of middle Jiao cold

Dosage: 2 to 6 grams
