Latin Name: Bambusae Concretio Silicea

Properties: sweet, cold

Actions: transforms and clears phlegm heat, stops convulsions, cools heart

Medical Indications: chest pain, cough, sputum difficult to expectorate, convulsions, spasms

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy

Dosage: 3 to 6 grams
