Latin Name: Radix Pseudostellariae

Properties: bitter, sweet, neutral

Actions: strengthens spleen and stomach Qi, generates fluids, tonifies lung Qi

Medical Indications: poor appetite, fatigue, fever, febrile diseases, thirst, summerheat in children, spontaneous sweating, diarrhea, diabetes, heavy menses, chronic and acute hepatitis, wounds

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy

Dosage: 10 to 30 grams
