Latin Name: Herba Cynomorii Songarici

Properties: sweet, warm

Actions: nourishes blood, tonifies kidney Yang, tonifies essence, moistens intestines, unblocks bowels

Medical Indications: paralysis, motor impairment, impotence, spermatorrhea, frequent urination, constipation due to Qi or blood deficiency, lack of strength in loin and knees

Contraindications: not to be used in cases of kidney Yin deficiency with heat, not to be used in cases of constipation with excess heat or diarrhea due to spleen deficiency

Dosage: 4 to 15 grams
