Meng Shi (Lapis Stone)

Latin Name: Lapis Chloriti

Properties: sweet, salty, neutral

Actions: dissolves phlegm, descends Qi, stops seizures, anchors liver

Medical Indications: cough with phlegm and dyspnea, epilepsy, convulsions, and seizures with high fever, palpitations, and unconsciousness

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy, not to be used in children, not to be used in patients with weak digestion or Qi deficiency

Dosage: 6 to 10 grams
