Latin Name: Semen Strychnotis

Properties: bitter, cold, toxic

Actions: unblocks channels, reduces swellings, disperses clumps, alleviates pain

Medical Indications: rheumatoid arthritis, myasthenia gravis, Raynaud’s syndrome, injuries, gastrointestinal tract diseases, organic and functional disorders of heart and circulatory system, impotence, depression, migraine, facial neuralgias, menopausal syndromes

Contraindications: none

Caution: Ma Qian Zi is very toxic, do not overdose!

Dosage: 0.3 to 0.6 grams
