Latin Name: Pericarpium Punicae Granati

Properties: sour, astringent, warm, toxic

Actions: binds intestines, stops diarrhea, stabilizes kidneys, retains essence, kills parasites

Medical Indications: dysentery, chronic diarrhea, rectal prolapse, tapeworms, roundworms, ringworms, hemorrhoids, sore throat

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy, not to be used in early stage diarrhea

Dosage: 3 to 9 grams
