Latin Name: Concha Haliotidis

Properties: salty, cold

Actions: drains liver fire and ascending Yang, improves eyesight

Medical Indications: headaches, dizziness, photophobia, blurred vision due to nebula, night blindness, optic atrophy

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy

Dosage: 9 to 30 grams
