Latin Name: Rhizoma Acori Graminei

Properties: acrid, slightly warm

Actions: opens orifices, vaporizes phlegm, calms spirit, harmonizes middle Jiao, transforms turbid dampness, treats wind cold damp painful obstructions

Medical Indications: deafness, poor memory, dizziness, seizures, dulled sensation, epilepsy, delirium, angina, coronary diseases, stroke, arrhythmia, vertigo, tinnitus, gastritis, abdominal pain, sores

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy

Caution: to be used with caution in cases of Yin deficiency with heat signs, excessive sweating, spermatorrhea, or hematemesis

Dosage: 3 to 9 grams
