Latin Name: Massa Medica Fermentata
Properties: sweet, acrid, warm
Actions: harmonizes stomach, relieves food stagnation, aids digestion, absorbs minerals
Medical Indications: poor appetite, poor digestion, flatulence, diarrhea abominal or epigastric fullness and distention
Contraindications: not to be used in cases with stomach fire
Caution: to be used with caution during pregnancy, to be used with caution if liver function is low
Dosage: 6 to 15 grams
