Latin Name: Fructus Corni

Properties: sour, slightly warm

Actions: stabilizes and tonifies liver and kidneys, retains essence, stops excessive sweating, generates fluids, stops diarrhea, stabilizes menstruation, stops bleeding

Medical Indications: spermatorrhea, impotence, dysuria, incontince, frequent urination, excessive sweating, dizziness, chronic lower back pain, weak or sore knees, excessive bleeding during menstruation, bleeding from uterus, tinnitus, diabetes, hypertension

Contraindications: not to be used in cases of liver Yang ascending, not to be used in cases of damp heat with infection syndrome, not to be used in cases with difficulty in urination

Dosage: 5 to 10 grams
