Properties: bitter, cold

Actions: clears heat, clears lungs, removes toxins, reduces inflammation, benefits throat

Medical Indications: lung heat cough, painful, swollen throat, cancer of lungs, throat, and urinary bladder, gingivitis, damp heat jaundice

Contraindications: not to be used in cases with diarrhea due to spleen deficiency

Dosage: 3 to 9 grams
