Latin Name: Ootheca Mantidis

Properties: sweet, salty, neutral

Actions: tonifies kidney, assists Yang, retains essence and urine

Medical Indications: incontinence, enuresis in children, frequent urination, dribbling urine, impotence, nocturnal emissions

Contraindicatons: not to be used in cases with Yin deficiency with heat signs, not to be used in cases with urinary bladder damp heat

Dosage: 3 to 9 grams
