Properties: sweet, bitter, cold

Actions: expels wind and heat, clears heat in liver channel, clears eyes, cools blood, stops bleeding

Medical Indications: fever, headaches, dry cough, sore throat, eye problems, vomiting blood

Contraindications: none

Caution: to be used with caution in cases of cold in lungs or lung Qi deficiency

Dosage: 4.5 to 15 grams
