Latin Name: Herba Ecliptae Prostratae

Properties: sweet, sour, slightly cold

Actions: nourishes liver and kidney Yin, tonifies kidneys, cools blood, stops bleeding

Medical Indications: vertigo, dizziness, blurred vision, weak and sore low back and knees, prematurely grey hair, bleeding caused by heat in vessels, such as hemoptysis, hematuria, epistaxis, gastrointestinal bleeding, uterine bleeding, subcutaneous bleeding, purpura

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy
Caution: to be used with caution in cases with diarrhea, to be used with caution in cases with spleen, stomach, and kidney deficiency, to be used with caution in cases with food stagnation

Dosage: 10 to 20 grams
