Latin Name: Radix Drynariae
Properties: bitter, warm
Actions: promotes mending of bones and sinews, inhibits injuries, helps regain strength during convalescence, stimulates hair growth
Medical Indications: injuries of bones and sinews, bone fractures, sprains, weak and painful loin and knees, diarrhea, impaired hearing, tinnitus, toothache, bleeding gums caused by kidney deficiency, alopecia
Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy
Caution: to be used with caution in cases of Yin deficiency or blood stasis
Dosage: 15 to 25 grams
