Latin Name: Ramulus Uncariae Cum Uncis

Properties: sweet, cool

Actions: removes heat, subdues hyperactivity of liver, arrests convulsion, lowers blood pressure

Medical Indications: epilepsy, convulsions, eclampsia, headaches, dizziness, high blood pressure

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy, not to be used in cases where there is no fire

Dosage: 4.5 to 9 grams
