Latin Name: Gekkonidae

Properties: salty, neutral, slightly toxic

Actions: invigorates lung Qi, relieves asthma and cough, restores kidney Yang, replenishes vital essence and blood

Medical Indications: cough due to lung deficiency, cough and dyspnea, consumptive cough with bloody sputum, impotence

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy, not to be used in case of coughing from flu infection or caused by excess heat

Dosage: 3 to 7 grams
