Latin Name: Rhizoma Ligustici

Properties: acrid, warm

Actions: expels wind cold, stops headache, stops pain in low back, in cheeks and teeth

Medical Indications: influenza, rheumatoid arthritis, headaches

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy, not be used in cases with blood or Yin deficiency

Dosage: 4 to 12 grams
