Latin Name: Terra Flava Usta

Properties: acrid, slightly warm

Actions: warms blood, warms stomach, stops vomiting, stops diarrhea

Medical Indications: strokes, sudden cough, nausea, vomiting, vomiting blood, vaginal yeast or bacterial infection, excessive vaginal bleeding between menses, postpartum blood clot, difficult labor, retention of placenta, cold and pain in abdomen, food poisening, swollen and painful groin, pus in ears, chronic boils, carbuncles

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy

Caution: to be used with caution in cases of hemorrhage due to Yin deficiency with heat signs and nausea or vomiting with heat signs

Dosage: 12 to 30 grams
