Properties: bitter, cold

Actions: promotes lactation and benefits breasts, promotes urination, moistens intestines

Medical Indications: insufficient lactation, painful and swollen breasts, urinary tract infection, constipation due to lack of Yin, dysentery, edema, gonorrhea, boils, cataract

Contraindications: none

Caution: to be used with caution during pregnancy, in cases of spleen deficiency, and loose stools, an overdose can lead to hallucinations, double vision, and delirious speech

Dosage: 3 to 9 grams
