Properties: bitter, sour, slightly cold

Actions: arrests bleeding by dispelling heat from blood, counteracts toxicity, cures sores

Medical Indications: gastrointestinal bleeding, hemorrhoidal bleeding, unterine bleeding, vaginal bleeding, bloody dysentery, scalds, burns, boils, sores, carbuncles

Contraindications: none

Dosage: 4 to 12 grams
