Di Fu Zi (Kochia Fruit, Broom Cypress Fruit)

Latin Name: Fructus Kochiae

Properties: sweet, bitter, cold, non-toxic

Actions: clears damp heat, stops itching, promotes urination

Medical Indications: infections and inflammations of the urinary tract, gonorrhea, beriberi, edema, topically exczema, fungi, ring worms, scabies, urticaria caused by dampness on skin

Contraindications: not to be used if conditions are not due to damp heat

Dosage: 3 to 15 grams
